The Assistance League of Reno-Sparks is partnering with Barnes & Noble for a book fair to raise funds for the league’s philanthropic programs starting at 10 a.m. today. Barnes & Noble will contribute a percentage of every sale that is accompanied by a Bookfair voucher to Assistance League.
Vouchers are available at Assistance League’s website; look for the Bookfair voucher link (the voucher is the graphic next to the news release). You also can shop the Bookfair online Nov. 24-29 at www.bn.com/bookfairs. Include the Bookfair voucher ID number – 11204716 – on the payment page during checkout.
Barnes & Noble is having a special event for the following local authors today. Pulitzer winner Warren Lerude will be signing his just released book “Robert Laxalt: The Story of a Storyteller” from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Neal Cobb and Jerry Fenwick will be signing their book “Reno Now and Then II” from 1 to 4 p.m.
